Available cosmetic treatments

The treatment of decayed, damaged, discoloured and twisted teeth can be dramatically improved by the latest methods and dental materials available at Heanor Dental Care. Our dentists will be happy to discuss all options available with you and provide detailed treatment plans and costings.

• Crowns - are a porcelain cover for either a damaged or unsightly tooth. They are carefully crafted to look natural and blend in with surrounding teeth.
• Veneers - provide a wafer thin “mask” to hide discolouration, gaps or chipped teeth with little work being needed on the tooth itself.
• Inlays - are tooth coloured pieces of porcelain used on back teeth. Less work is needed on the tooth compared with crowns.
• Bridges - we can firmly fit a replacement tooth or teeth by attachment to the adjacent teeth. It can be used to replace a denture in some cases.
• Tooth coloured fillings - unsightly metal fillings can now be replaced by natural tooth coloured fillings to improve the look of your smile
• Bleaching - if you have a single or many discoloured teeth, lightening of the teeth can be achieved by the application of a mild bleaching agent.
